REFINED SESSIONS
Philippine Wedding Photographer, Gerard Magtaas left us wanting more after sharing a photo (in our Refined Facebook group) from an intimate elopement session he photographed in Ilocos Norte. The session journeyed to four different locations and the shoot that began at 5:30am came to a close at 6:00pm. At every location, Gerard captures the couple as if they are the only people to exist in this vast world.
The bride began the morning in a white gown and then transitioned into a white two-piece set. As the sun began to set she changed into a vibrant red dress.
Gerard shares with Refined Co that although the weather was gloomy, rainy, then sunny the only preset he used was film inspired preset Patina from Refined x Caroline.
The before and afters had our jaws on the floor! The flexibility of the fine art presets and Gerard’s vision is everything!
Shooting with 2 different bodies (Sony a7ii, Sony a7iii), 6 different lenses (Sony Zeiss 50mm F1.4, Sigma Art 35mm F1.4, Canon 135L F2, Canon 50L F1.2, Samyang 24mm F2.8) and a drone (Dji Spark) Patina from REFINED x Caroline Tran was the bond that brought all 4 locations and 3 weather changes into one cohesive look.
